Exactitudes is a contraction of 'exact' and 'attitude'. Ari Versluis & Ellie Uyttenbroek photograph their characters in an identical setup with an equal pose and as much similarity in clothing as possible. Exactitudes is a long-running project that started in 1994. Six books have now been published with photos taken all over the world.

Dutch Photographer Arie Versluis and stylist Ellie Uyttenbroek have been working together since 1994. The following year they make so-called 'exactitudes'. Twelve photos (in a template: three photos wide and four high) of people who dress remarkably similarly and thus show that they consider themselves to belong to a certain socio-cultural group. The work of Versluis and Uyttenbroek is included in various museums and a large number of corporate collections. In 2022 the series consisted of 175 'exactitudes'. Flowerpower is number 88.
