Posed in mid dance, One Minute Minnie playfully presents herself to be painted in Marcel Wanders’ world-renowned signature One Minute Delft Blue style. Using the same colour palette and technique, Marcel creates a new way to experience this cartoon character who has brought happiness to millions around the globe. The Delft Blue style perfectly accentuates all of Minnie’s familiar shapes, made more familiar by the craftsman-like creativity of the human touch. Making each individual sculpture unique, the One Minute Minnie creates a complete set, and in the process universally symbolises everyone’s youth.
