The book ‘World Business Class, A Welcoming Guest Experience‘ takes you on the 10-yearlong collaboration journey between Marcel Wanders and KLM. The book documents the design scope for KLM’s onboard tableware and dining experience. Marcel Wanders transforms passengers into honoured guests, as in a restaurant at 40,000 feet.

All-encompassing, the project includes porcelain, glassware, cutlery, linen, trays and packaging design, also for the economy class. The book describes how Marcel Wanders accentuates the typically Dutch roots of KLM while designing contemporary items with a surprising character.
